USC Saturday Buzz: Target Makes Decision Today

Defensive tackle Floyd Boucard of Miami will announce his college commitment today at 1:30 p.m.

USC, Alabama, Miami and Oklahoma are his finalists. The Sooners are considered the frontrunner but maybe Coach Henny can pull off a surprise. When you look at recent commitments of USC targets, it’s been defensive players where problems occur, so we’ll see if today continues that trend or bucks it.

Boucard (6-3, 315) had 85 tackles, 27 tackles-for-loss and 11 sacks last season.

  • Cheryl Miller will coach the WNBA All-Star team tonight against Team USA in Phoenix.

    1. Did you use the phrase “cleanest guy”?

      #UsuallySendsYouStraightTo”AwaitingModeration”….

  1. Where is everyone? Perhaps MG and LJ can converse back and forth all day and get my click count up. A guy needs to make a living, collecting aluminum isn’t paying the bills.

I screwed up with all my sock puppets….sorry guys.

      1. And again blaming someone else for what SHE did. Raised by lousy parents who never taught her to take responsibility for her actions.

  2. -Just wait until August and especially September when Wolf can once again start talking football instead of mere recruitment stuff, and watch the hordes return to the roost (maybe)

  3. Speaking of Kiffin in the last couple of days, here is Scottie’s original tarmac post:

    https://www.insidesocal.com/usc/2013/09/29/lane-kiffin-fired-at-lax-parking-lot/

“Kiffin said he would be right back, but one of the administrators told the bus to leave.”

That was a bit harsh to do to Kiff, even if the team did give up 62 points to ASU…

Check out the posters – Alv is the only name among the comments on that post who remains…good on brother!

  4. Hope we can land Boucard. He has the ideal build for a nose guard and you can not have an elite defense without a dominate interior defensive line. Stop the run and make the other team one dimensional. That is why Georgia is elite.

  5. One comment about 2013’s firing of ‘Kitten’ said that “at least SC could have taken him to the nearest Denny’s” when breaking the news like in “Kiff, have a burger on us but we got something serious to talk about”

And yes ’67, those posters from 2013 don’t post anymore, probably some are dead

    1. For her sake, we can only hope, John. To think someone who really believes the crazy bs she posts would be walking the streets among normal people would be a frightening thought.

      1. Luckily, Gabby’s in Vegas ….. he’s probably the most normal person walking the streets….

      2. I don’t get hammered [unless I’m told we’re getting together with the inlaws].

Proposal: You, Plow and me head to Vegas and ask people on the street if they’ve met anyone who calls himself tebow and believes NASA faked the moon landing. My bet is they’ll say “Yes, he is our hero.”
