An Indicator For The USC Defense

Defensive end Anthony Lucas lost his starting job after the first game last season. He didn’t do a whole lot after that. He had a disappointing freshman season at Texas A&M.

He got a lot of hype in the spring and continues to draw hype this summer.

But will he start? Or make an impact? The problem last season was Lincoln Riley overhyped Ceyair Wright and Tackett Curtis.

Lucas could be a gauge of the defense. If he has a non-descript season, it will be business as usual. If he really is vastly improved, it will benefit the defense and USC overall.

So Lucas is a good indicator of how USC will fare this season.

  2. I’d like to commend all my fellow right wing nut jobs for deftly moving off criticism of the confused old man and oldest ever presidential nominee.

We’d look mighty foolish if we were still singing that song.

Good work boys, you know who you are.

      1. Let me help you out here because you’re obviously confused. Joe Biden hasn’t been nominated for 2024. The DNC, where the nomination becomes official, is scheduled for next week and Kamala Harris will be the nominee.

At 78 and looking older by the day, Donald Trump is the oldest person ever nominated to run for president.

      2. Look who you’re dealing with, PT, the dumbest man on the internet. Who told the blog recently that Riley would have more success running a “Wing-T” offense from the 60s.

  5. Reverting back to the SC betting line of 5.5 wins, up or down, it seems reasonable to believe the team loses 3 games it should and 2 than it shouldn’t for a 7-5

  6. -And what is worrisome is that one of those “should lose” losses is coming up with LSU with the gamblers appparently betting against the inexperienced ‘Most’ aka Moss, notwithstanding the quarterback’s performance in his one-game
