Saturday Buzz: Can USC Run?

This is another game story to follow tomorrow.

Are tailbacks Woody Marks and Quinten Joyner considered above-average backs?

Marks is considered a solit back but not as good as last year’s starter, MarShawn Lloyd. Joyner is a wild card. He hasn’t played a lot so maybe he will surprise.

The LSU game should provide an early answer, if Lincoln Riley runs the ball. LSU is going to run the ball.

  • UCLA is selling single-game tickets for the USC game. There are currently a lot of 50-yard line seats available.
  • Here are the available tickets at the Rose Bowl.

  1. Imagine if you will an individual so demented she devotes over 2 decades of her life to spamming a sports website day and night 365 days a year relentlessly with handles like TrojanFan1 and Charlie Bucket and Gabby… you have entered The Twilight Zone!

      2. Just Owns isn’t the person either, he could have been Buckett.

Watched the Wisconsin and Michigan State games yesterday, neither are very good

      3. Nope, Charlie Bucket turned mean in her old age and became what is known as Gabby. You could see it in the last Charlie Bucket posts-some kind of degenerative disease of the brain.

  2. I thought Gabby said a few days back that he was going to the USC marching band pep rally today at the Palms at 2:00 and wanted to “meet up” with Scott. Instead, he spent the day trolling the blog. Once again a threat followed by a no show. That’s our Cowardly Gabby. All talk, no walk.

  3. OR looked tasked by ID as did MI against Fresno St……’The Princess’ has a solid defense and run game but both their qb and TX A&M’s looked below average. Miami’s crushing of FL was telling. Tonight we need to control the line we’ll defeat LSU….lose the line as is the game.
