Lincoln Riley On Bear Alexander

Lincoln Riley said this morning that linebacker Mason Cobb has been limited this week and is questionable for the Utah State game.

“We’ll see how he moves around today,” Riley said.

Riley said there are no other injuries.

  • Riley on Bear Alexander’s quiet first game: “I don’t think we need to see anything more, just gotta keep competing, gotta keep playing, keep getting better.”
  • USC has all the Heisman banners up at the Coliseum.

I thought Gabby said a few days back that he was going to the USC marching band pep rally today at the Palms at 2:00 and wanted to “meet up” with Scott. Instead, he spent the day trolling the blog. Once again a threat followed by a no show. That’s our Cowardly Gabby. All talk, no walk.

  2. Nice display of Heisman jerseys. But, I am opposed to retiring the numbers. You already have star offensive players with numbers 1,2,4,6,7,8,10 and Maiava is 14 and Jensen is 17. All these guys will likely be here next year. What number do you give an incoming quarterback. With retired numbers of 3,5,11,12,and 20, your running out of available numbers. You can honor them without retiring there number much like they do with number 55 on defense.

      1. Yes MG, the same guy who threw for 3 touchdowns for Utah against USC. Never played before the USC game but managed to shred the Grinch defense. Was named PAC 12 offensive player of the week. I am looking forward to playing him again. He is slow. We should torch him.

      2. Michael, good catch, I didn’t know Barnes transferred. He did have a career day against Grinch last year. Like so many others. I remember thinking “How is this happening?” 4 words which I found myself uttering throughout the season…

  3. Cowardly Gabby needs to be involuntarily incarcerated at Atascadero State Mental Hospital now that her lie about living in Las Vegas has been debunked by Plow Horse. She has nothing left now.

    1. You would think so. But Cowardly Gabby reminds me of what was said about the Mo Udall character played by Jack Nicholson in “As Good As It Gets.”

“The think he has going for him is his total willingness to be humiliated and keep on going.”

Yesterday Gabby admitted that he had no intention of appearing for a boxing match. “Nobody fights over what is said on a blog.” He was incredulous that anyone should ask for an apology. (Posting fraudulently as steveg) In Gabby’s world, men are not the protectors and providers for their families. You can insult their wives, daughters, and mothers with impunity. He has has no code of honor and therefore believes that nobody else should live by one. Although he admits that he will not back up his words with a boxing match, he has now dishonesty posted at least 10 times the exact same response about how he showed up at the gym in Miami. Is this suppose to be amusing? Please stop ruining our blog with repetitive copy and paste posts.

  5. Scott Wolf needs the Trojans to lose soon so he can have more to post. Why is Bear Alexander so important? Because Domani Jackson and Ceyair Wright is gone. So is Donte Williams. I’m sensing a pattern. Wolf, must have been bullied severely in his life because he wants revenge, even in this late stage of his existence. Why praise Gavin Meyer’s zero tackles? Because he had more snaps than Alexander, who at least made a tackle. A ringleader who runs a clown show. What a life.
