USC Notes: It’s A Busy Sunday

USC is ranked No. 11 in both the Associated Press and the coaches’ poll.

  • ESPN currently gives USC a 42 percent chance of making the College Football Playoff. At this point, USC looks like the best team in the Big Ten outside of Ohio State.
  • Sam Darnold completed 19 of 24 passes for 208 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Minnesota Vikings’ 28-6 victory over the N.Y. Giants.
  • Caleb Williams was just 14 of 29 for 93 yards with no TD’s and no interceptions but the Chicago Bears defeated the Tennessee Titans, 24-17, thanks to their defense. Williams became the first starting rookie QB selected first-overall to win Week 1 since 2002.

The Coliseum thermometer was in midseason form last night.

  • Did you know Steve Sarkisian’s still dresses him on game days even though the couple announced they are getting divorced? Nothing surprises me with Sarkisian.

    1. It was so freakin’ hilarious how many people were stupid enough to be surprised the night of the debate!! HELLO!! Glad you all finally caught on to what the rest of us had know for years!! LMFAO

What is downright scary is all of the people who were supposedly LICENSED professionals who tried to deny his dementia!! Just goes to show how easily a person can obtain those licenses.

  1. TN is a real mystery in the AFC South it’s also been deemed the least coherent in the division. A home victory for CHI and for Caleb.

Very happy for Darnhold….4th team in his career…2 consecutive dumpster fires (NYJ & CHAR) this chance at MN loojs Ike the entire year and a coaching staff and front office who know how to use him.

Be interesting when the Bears face the Vikings twice this year….dueling Trojans.

  2. Charming: How’s your preparation for tomorrow’s debate coming along?

Prince: This is my third rodeo, I don’t need to further hone my debate skills

Charming: And no matter how we do, there will always be our critics, but I treat it as water off a duck’s back

Prince: Water off a duck’s back?– For me it’s more like a tsunami

  3. Good for Darnold. The Vikings have a real weapon on their hands. It certainly will spice up the Chicago-Minnesota games on November 24th and December 16th. But the real question to be asked is one few considered before the LSU game: by how many points will USC be favored to win at Michigan in 2 weeks?
