USC Saturday Buzz: Coaches Hit Road

Lincoln Riley was in Georgia last night attending the Douglas County/Buford game.

USC had a coach at the JSerra-Lincoln game in San Diego to watch JSerra linebacker Madden Faraimo.

USC defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn was at the San Clemente-Corona del Mar game to watch USC linebacker commit Matai Tagoa’i of San Clemente.

  • Michigan beat Arkansas State, 28-18, today in Ann Arbor. This won’t raise the Wolverines’ stock heading into next week’s USC-Michigan game.
  • LSU barely beat South Carolina, 36-33. The schedule isn’t looking like it did in the offseason.
  • Disney and DirecTV finally settled the differences Saturday morning. Two weeks too late for those who couldn’t watch the USC-LSU game.

    1. Did LSU hire Clay Helton to call offensive plays? Talk about luck, they could have lost by 14. Mizzou also struggles, and ‘Bama looks as good as anytime in last few years.

      1. Bama’s offense is good. But their defense is suspect. Wisconsin was able to run on them and if Whisky had a quarterback who could hit a wide open receiver and a running back who could hold onto the ball they would have made a game of it.

      2. Yeah, someone who equates what a bunch of knuckleheads did to what people in office are doing is not all there. I mean, we’ve known that all along. This was just the latest example.

    1. Other than Amon Ra St. Brown, very few players from Mater Dei have helped USC. JT Daniels, Bru McCoy, Rajon Davis, Raleek Brown, Domani Jackson, CW Williams – all busts. The players are overrated.

      1. We ran into a couple at Claro’s who were going to the game. At least they had some great sandwiches before watching their team get pummeled.

      3. Yes Gabby, manure is productive. It helps the fruits and vegetable that feed us flourish and grow. Now how you have spent your time on this blog over the past two decades, at times posting 20 t 30 times a day under different aliases – that is not productive. Get a life.
