Michigan has had enough of quarterback Davis Warren and will start backup Alex Orgi against USC.
Warren threw three interceptions against Arkansas State and has six interceptions this season.
Orgi has completed three of six passes for 15 yards and two touchdowns. He has rushed 10 times for 58 yards.

Guessing plenty of RPOs with QB running come Saturday. The kid is supposedly close to 240 lbs. Can’t imagine they are going to open up the playbook for him.

This was the plan all along. Orji is not “the backup” —- he’s the guy they’ve been saving for USC.

btw, Alex Orji will be one of the 2 or 3 best all around athletes on the field Saturday —- hope USC saw this coming and prepared for him during their bye week — he’s no joke….

I’m getting a stomach ache over the possibility of a Cinderella story of the Tavita Pritchard sort (2007 USC favored by 41 over Stanford…) for the new Michigan guy. But I have faith in D’Anton, he seems like an exceptional young man, salt of the earth fella.
