USC vs. Michigan At The Big House

I’m setting this up now for those who want to discuss the game or even come here during the game.

I’m picking USC to win, 34-23.

Let’s see what happens.

The USC rally already took place today.

  1. Just saw the game again — Paige and Murphy looked like they were dodging Michigan’s D-Line instead of blocking them— Miller was sacked or hurried on play after play…he really took a beating…

    1. moss has absolutely no idea how to buy time in the pocket…….his pocket awareness is terrible……..Caleb is rolling his eyes.

you sound like an idiot accusing the tackles of “dodging” a defender, more perception issues…..must suck getting old…….

The s h i t you come up with is laughable…….insert foot #2 into mouth!

      4. So sad that her mom got around so much she never knew who her dad was. Never learned what it was to be a real man. She thinks it’s talking trash on a blog and challenging people to meet for a fight out in the middle of nowhere, over something they wrote on a blog.

Yesterday Boston College celebrated what it is to be a REAL MAN. Welles Crowther, a BC alumnus, was in the World Trade Center on Sep 11 and helped several people escape without a thought about his own safety! He died trying to save even more people. He was The Man In The Red Bandana.

  3. USC is still not ready for prime time. We entered the game playing on offense very tentative and didn’t wake-up until the 2nd half. The defense is greatly improved gave up 3 devastating run plays. We had an opportunity to show college football and even themselves that they are a legitimate contender but couldn’t get it down. The O-line definitely needs to improve.

  4. This team will only go as far as Moss can take it. At best, he’s serviceable but nowhere near a game-changer…….the guy sitting on the bench, Maiava is a game-changer. Let’s see how long Riley is willing to stick with moss……F u c k the loyalty thing!

The good QBs move the chains with their arm and LEGS…….

  5. Pretty amazing our boys lost to a quarterback who had no influence on the game whatsoever. SC tackles better now, but still gives up the big plays– Michigan only needed 3 big runs and an interception for touchdown to win the game

    1. He had a big influence- he didn’t fumble or throw any pick sixes. That’s why Michigan made the switch- all they needed to beat SC was an efficient quarterback.

  6. I don’t believe football players are scared except in rare instances. A better way to describe the usual porous SC offensive line is that they had to be frustrated how Michiganers were stampeding by them like wild horses

Plow Horse AUGUST 31, 2024 AT 9:42 PM I thought Gabby said a few days back that he was going to the USC marching band pep rally today at the Palms at 2:00 and wanted to “meet up” with Scott. Instead, he spent the day trolling the blog. Once again a threat followed by a no show. That’s our Cowardly Gabby. All talk, no walk.

  8. But then ‘the play of the game’ occurs with a 60-yard Michigan run created by SC’s 2 ex-bruins, one who couldn’t quite bring the runner down and the other somehow misjudging the helping tackle. And by the way, didn’t these same guys beat SC last year?

Oh well, it’s a play these guys wil talk about when they are grandpas, and with enough time behind them they can then laugh it off

  9. You could tell how Michigan was doing by the facial-expessions of its crowd. First, partying for nearly 3-hours as its team held a lead, and then turning to despair when SC makes a surprising come-back

  11. It could be argued that SC was lucky to even be in that game. They got 2 ‘cheap’ touchdowns with the humorous take-away fumble and another fumble recovery inside Michigan’s 20-yard line for the temporary SC go-ahead touchdown

  12. Final Thoughts–

SC’s punter was great, he kept forcing Michigan to cover most of the field for its scores

In past years 1-loss could doom a team’s chances for a championship, but now it appears 10-2 will get you into the Final-12 Teams

I bet the tv-types love the ratings and the fact it was a “thrilling” game. Their gamble to support college football is paying off
