  1. I’m surprised that we’re 14.5 point favorites. I am also surprised that Bear Alexander is going to sit out the rest of the season and red shirt. A season is a long time and a lot of things happen. I’m disappointed that any player would give up on a season unless there’s something injury related. I’m old school in that if you want to get on the field you earn it by practicing harder and playing harder.

    1. Bear needed to firgure out how to be a positive contributor within the “team” concept, instead of being a me-me. Pehaps he’ll finds greener pasture down the road.

    Personally, I find this less of a big deal than USC joining the conference that they used to beat up on back in the day in the Rose Bowl. Whoever thought that the USC fans of the future will be rooting for Michigan and Ohio State in bowl games because we are all part of the same conference. Blasphemy.

  9. how thoss special teams looking now? Partially blocked punt and 2 botched bunt returns mauling field position and creating turnovers. Btw game management still aucka. But we still have 3 receivers coaches though.

    1. Teams know our o-line can’t protect. It’s gonna be a looong season. Luke Fickell has Phil Longo as his O. C. [former O.C. for Ole Miss]. All Dumbo Riley has is Josh Henson.

  22. The offensive line has some major problems. Time to make some changes. The left tackle is making every edge rusher look like an All American and the right side isn’t great either. These guys are going to kill Moss.

    1. Elijah Page (LT) was getting scout attention after the first two games. The last two have been awful. O-line looked a bit better in second half, but Henson better be a miracle worker before PSU comes.

  23. Give Moss some credit for making a few nice bootleg runs today. One for a touchdown. He has courage to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball and to also take on a defender to get into the endzone.
