USC Football: The Good And The Bad

I have a lot of respect for Miller Moss, who took part in a Man on the Street interview on Monday with the student-run Annenberg Media and even gave his opinion.

I can’t tell you how many USC quarterbacks of the past 20 years would have declined doing an impromptu interview like this. But Moss isn’t a Big Time Charlie.

  • Now, let’s talk about far-less admirable behavior. I’m sure you saw the L.A. Times story where the attorney for Reggie Bush said Bush wants USC to pay his legal fees.

At what point are people going to wake up with this guy?

For about 15 years, I’ve pointed out that Bush has never showed remorse for the NCAA penalties or the fact he did not cooperate with the NCAA.

The sycophants — including USC — have been cheerleaders on Bush’s behalf and made him the victim.

Now he is suing USC and wants them to pay his legal fees. It never ends.

  1. — And it is further evidence of what money means to him, it is everything. He could afford paying his own attorneys and could have paid off his ex-agent Lake $400,000 and most of the ‘Bush-Rash’ would have never been revealed

    1. That’s the saddest part of it- Reggie knew he was going to be worth millions in April 2006 but he double crossed the agents who had supplied him with his tricked out car, bling and house in San Diego for his parents. None of this had to come out but Reggie was too cheap to pay off his ex-agents. And now he sues USC after he singlehandedly destroyed the #1 football program in the country and we still haven’t recovered 20 years later. The fans, students and alumni should sue Reggie!

  2. On the other hand if the information regarding Bush asking to have his attorney fees paid was gleaned from Bush’s Complaint, it is customary to put that provision in almost any Complaint

  3. Let’s trace back 20 years and determine which quarterbacks would have given a “Man on the Street” interview like Moss just did– Leinart might not have in 2004 but certainly he would today, Sanchez of course and Bradley too along with Dart and Celeb

  4. Scooter,

What did the Pharoh say about Moses when he was croaking in the movie, The Ten Commandments, I parpharsing but he said never to speak the name of Moses. We should follow suit and never speak the name of Bush, Reggie Bush.

  5. SC football’s away schedule doesn’t hold a candle to SC basketball’s with the Trojans for 1 1/2 months in January and February travelling to Indiania and Illinois (doubling up), Nebraska, Northwestern and Purdue (doubling up) and Maryland and Rutgers (doubling up). The ‘double-ups’ cut down on travel but SC still has to take planes between these nearby colleges except Maryland and Rutgers

  6. That’s wrong, just looked it up and the distances between the above schools calls for a bus ride not planes

  7. Hey whiny little girl, the only reason you threw an insignificant positive comment in there is because you wanted to deflect the opinion of your readers that you are the most negative person any of us have ever read. You made a small compliment of Miller and immediately trashed other QBs that came before. Then you got down to your favorite thing and that is going off on USC and its personnel. You must be terribly insecure. Get help please.
