What a disgraceful loss. Lincoln Riley played not to lose. He is awful.

Where was the halftime adjustment to these slow-developing running plays?

USC drives 91 yards for a TD and takes a 17-10 lead.

So many penalties in the second quarter for USC.

USC takes lead with a 15-play, 75-yard drive and it’s 7-3.

Yogi Roth referred to USC as Southern Cal. Is he crazy?

That whole drive got ruined on third down when USC was disorganized and barely snapped ball in time, then Branch drops pass and then missed FG.

Will Lincoln Riley hire a special teams coach? Nope.

Did I mention the towel wavers have been neutralized?

  9. this sc team is a good team not a great team. But Riley is the king of can’t close. I’ve seen way too many times (Tulane Utah mich and now Minnesota) game in control, score, ball and clock on your side. And one thing happens that’s controllable and the whole tone of the game changes and you just say, well there it goes. Enjoy what 11.3 mil a year buys you . Im sick so heismen talk. I don’t care how many he’s coached. He can’t coach games for… well you know. And by the way. If you can’t beat ND you don’t deserve to be in the playoffs so he’s being a real P.

  13. Minnesota deserved the win, SC did not. SC now has no margin to make the playoff, and I doubt they will. The trustees and administration need to start thinking now about what the post Lincoln Riley era is going to look like.

  14. Minnesota dominated the LOS. This has been the story of USC football for most of the last 15 years. Lincoln Riley might be worse at his job than Gavin Newsom is at his.

      1. I think Lynn might keep talent coming our way—-unlike Henson & Riley. No one is scoring that much against us…..but Riley can’t can’t put together more than 3 TD’s —- the guy we thought could win a shootout with everybody, can’t win a shootout with anybody.

  16. Riley is not getting enough productivity out of Moss. He threw for 93 yards today and two picks……and he’s MINUS 29 yards rushing after 5 games.

    Numerous times he had chances to advance the ball up the sidelines. I have never seen a more one-dimensional QB than Moss.

    WE MISSED GENTRY, BADLY!!!!!!!!

  21. If we have any NIL $$$ to piss away, it should not go to flashy running backs or wide receivers. We need linemen, O line & D Line. Good ones, bad ones, whatever. Juco & D III, I don’t care where they come from, I want my Alma mater to be the NFL pipeline for the big uglies.

  25. “Dangerous Minnesota” was written prior to the game. The positives are that SC made Michigan fans very happy and made Minnesota fans ecstatic as they rushed the field, So the SC brand is still alive although slowly dissolving
