Pick The USC-Penn State Score/Friday Supplement

With an early kickoff tomorrow, we’re going to get a head start on picking the score.

The game definitely sounds like a key will be a battle between the Penn State defensive line and USC offensive line. The Nittany Lions are favorites but is this where USC finds lightning in a bottle? There’s no pressure on the Trojans.

So who do you like? I’ll make my pick Saturday morning.

  • Penn State practiced today at SoFi Stadium. Usually, visiting teams will go to a high school on Friday but Penn State wanted to recreate a stadium atmosphere.
  • Can you imagine going to see a movie in 1952 in Times Square starring Frank Sinatra and besides the movie, you actually get to see Sinatra sing in person as part of a show that included Buddy Rich and his orchestra?

That was pretty common in the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s in New York and Los Angeles.

        We are now in our 16th year of mediocrity (not counting 2016 and 2022)…

  11. For the first time in years I listened to the entire Dodgers game and the game proved that there is nothing like winning a playoff after losing the past few years

    Oh, and 27-24 Trojans. See if that gets by the Censor

  14. Got to love it that both SC and Penn St players enter this contest Knowing that they can win it. There is something to “home court” advantage with the ‘Lions jetting in 2-days before and the Trojans taking the attitude, “This is Our house!”

  18. The Nittany Lion nickname developed from Mt Nittany once having some wild ‘lions, and the locals would boast that Mt. Nittany was actually located on the Penn St campus when in fact it’s a few miles away
