A USC staffer (not a coach) was talking trash on sideline to a Maryland receiver. A really poor look. Remember last week a staff was berating the refs.

The lockdown USC defense quickly gives up a TD.
This is how you know USC is playing a bad team. USC misses a FG but Maryland has an illegal substitution and that prolongs the drive for a touchdown. USC leads 7-0.
Even the announcer who never watches USC couldn’t believe that punt wasn’t returned.
I thought Lincoln Riley discovered last week running the ball works but USC has tried to pass on 11 of its first 13 plays today
This should be a relaxing, uneventful game worthy of being relegated to FS1.

There is no tarmac coming, just a 3-9 season, which will be the best record the next 5 years which will include 0-12 in 2028 when it will be financially possible to fire Riley. By then the wokesters running the show will officially bury the corpse of SC football, 20 years after it actually died.

The money would come out of the athletic endowment, not the regular endowment, and the athletic endowment is well over half billion in general funds. Buy-outs are always negotiated but that’s still not the issue. The money being lost in ticket and apparel and donor funds more than makes up for whatever the amount would be. Folt and the BoT however are fine with things as they are. It would take the B10 and media partners complaining.
