Did you know Channel 13 is showing the start of tonight’s game if the World Series runs past 8 p.m.?
USC football was the featured attraction for the first night of commercial broadcasting on KLAC-TV, as local Los Angeles station Channel 13 was known then in 1948 with a game between USC and Utah.
So things have come full circle!

For me the air is out of the ballon for this season. After the LSU game I was hesitantly hopeful but now I’m left only with disappointment. The Lincoln Riley experiment has been a bust. He should get a job maybe as OC but he’s definitely not championship quality head coaching material.

Anticlimactic game so far, despite 4 USC TD. Trojans have run just 25 offensive plays. Rutgers is awful, but has same total offense as USC. Let’s see if Riley can manage not to give the game away in the second half.

I can see USC following there MO of allowing Rutgers to stay around so they can come back to win…pathetic!

irony is that Kyle (#5) gained another 6 yards after the helmet to helmet hit so Cobb can’t be too arrogant about the hit. Not to mention while the player eventually is down and hurt. You never know when it’s your turn to be rung and seeing stars. So I wouldn’t make fun of it.
