Sunday Buzz: Who Is Under More Heat? Lincoln Riley Or Brian Kelly?

Some LSU fans are up in arms over Brian Kelly. One reason is his 4-7 record against ranked teams at LSU.

Well, Lincoln Riley is 4-8 against ranked teams at USC. And Riley was offered the LSU job. Imagine how that would be going.

Are there as many people upset with Riley, who also has a worse regular-season record than Kelly this year (4-4 vs. 6-2).

I doubt it but that’s because things are different in the SEC.

    2. The Carol Folt administration wants to transition USC alumni to making it a pastime like it is at UCLA, Cal and Stanford. They are much more excited about politically correct women’s hoops.

  3. Kelly almost certainly will lose to ‘Bama. He could lose two of the three games vs. Vandy, OK, and Florida. His defense isn’t very good and his QB isn’t very good.

    Both Kelly and Riley could wind up 7-5, maybe worse. IU was brilliant in hiring Cignetti. I wonder if they had any idea just how good he might be, or if it was pure luck. He makes about 1/3 of Riley’s salary.

    1. If you look at Cignetti’s resume you’ll see that he worked under Saben and turned every program he coached around, SC would have never looked at him

  4. Since SC has Wiley for at least another 2-years in all probability, Trojan fans may as well get used to him hanging around for a long time

    1. As long as the most UNQUALIFIED Presidential candidate ever doesn’t win 9 days from now, it WILL all be good. But if she does win, HEAVEN HELP US!

      And since her supporters are as original as Kamala is, lame childish copy & paste in 3, 2, 1….

      1. Riley = Kamala, both can do one thing well.

        Riley can mismanage a clock like no other and Kamala can suck a golf ball through a garden hose
