I answered some questions about USC with a Washington web site, including whether Lincoln Riley is on the hot seat.
- I always get a kick out of schools that love having a rivalry with USC but rely heavily on players from Southern California.
Washington’s entire five-man starting secondary is from Southern California and backup nickel back Dyson McCutcheon is the son of former USC star Daylon McCutcheon.
Arizona is another school that gets hyped up for USC and its got three guys starting on offense from Servite High School and its top corner is from Millikan High School.

Because it was Halloween, I almost ran a picture of Sharon Tate this week from the 1966 mystery-horror film, “Eye of the Devil.”
David Niven was the film’s star. I have one USC story about him. In the early 1960’s, he contacted USC and asked for tickets to a basketball game because his son was a fan. But Niven did not want to sit in one of the lower sections of the Sports Arena because he just wanted to enjoy the game as a normal fan. So he sat in a higher section. Can you imagine a celebrity today not wanting courtside seats?

Another victory for ideological lunacy and changing SC into the most progressive institution in CA all under Carol Folt’s direction. Welcome to a world where women are men and men are women. We already had the Drum Major and Traveler’s rider changed to women (Historical fact: There were no women who fought in armies during the period of the Trojan Wars, Pelopenessian or Roman civilizations). Next year, expect to have SC’s first ever gay male song boy. You will not be able differentiate SC from Cal except for the falling academic rankings and overpriced tuition costs!
