Lincoln Riley Talks QB Change

Lincoln Riley discussed his decision to make a QB change after practice today.

“It was tough,” Riley said. “It’s my job to take the emotion out of it. You have loyalty to all these guys individually, but you got a bigger loyalty to the team and program and it has always got to stay that way.”

“When we went back and looked at it, we felt like it was in the best interest of the team to give Jayden a chance here.

“This is just about this week because there is so much to unfold … this is not a decision with the future in mind. This is a decision with two weeks to go.”

    Even if he doesn’t win, not going to be the landslide the Village Idiot claimed it would.

    2. So correct! LR is such a doofus- every time he opens his mouth another stupid comment comes out. His system doesn’t fit a stationary QB, reason is his playing calling is average- and he needs the off script plays to be successful- that and the RPO option component. Perhaps if he ran the ball more, the offense would get better and you would take some of the pressure off Moss – but LR’s head is so far up his own a s s he cant see that.
