A Busy Crosstown Rivalry Eve

The Daily Trojan defeated the Daily Bruin, 5-1, today in the Blood Bowl.

Touchdowns counted for one point and the Daily Bruin threw at least four interceptions to start the game.

The second half may have made history as it was played entirely by all-female teams for each squad.

Pictures of the game are below.

  • The USC student managers lost to their counterparts from UCLA, 41-32.
  • Four-star offensive tackle Alex Payne has flipped his commitment from North Carolina to USC.

  1. I’m curious about why when USC gets a flip you give it one line but when a commit flips from USC you give it a paragraph. Just your nature I guess.

    1. Remember before NIL when recruiting high school kids meant something and we all looked forward to the National Letter Of Intent Day the first week in February?

    2. Pretty simple. JuJu Lewis is probably the best known recruit in the nation and has made his recruitment a year-long story. That merits more coverage than a 4-star OT who flips from North Carolina to USC.

Compare how much the recruiting services have given to each prospect.
