This is a terrible game to pick.
USC has not improved all season and has a coach that could care less about the Crosstown Rivalry. UCLA is one of those teams that will burn you just when you show a little faith in them.
Like most games this season, USC has the edge on paper. But the Trojans don’t look better on the field. UCLA has an offense ranked 220th in the nation in total yards.
So go ahead and venture to pick a winner today. I will make my pick later today.
31-25 USC

ucla is so bad, it only seems like they are 220th in the national in total offense…
Trojans 27, Gutties 16
over/under on number of paid ucla fans: 20,000
If Maiava throws more than one pick, then it might be close.

They actually boast a decent defense against the run….7th ranked nationally tied with TN @ 100.6 yds per game but have allowed highest # of TDs in the top 10 at 17

I saw Neuheisel the day after the 50-0 shellacking at the Palisades farmer’s market. He was walking around like a zombie, shell-shocked.

He was on PMS yesterday talking about the chaos about to descend on the college football ranking committee and mind you this was before the implosion of MS loss today and AL’s impending against OK as well as TX A&M mix-up with Auburn……he stated this is going to be a bomb trying to figure out who gets what seed. Lane Kiffin was already stating a team that loses a CCG shouldn’t be eliminated.
Let’s win tonight and then plan to shiv ‘the princess’

Maiava has no weight as Moss would have he’s been able to watch the entire season and, in particular, seen all those close finishes – both wins and losses. That is a brutal lesson that I sense he doesn’t intend to repeat.
If Marks has a good game that’s a real problem for the Bruins.
I like our chances a lot.

The correct phrase is could NOT care less, Scott. Come on! You graduated from USC, didn’t you?
