Is This Progress For USC?

Lincoln Riley tried to spin after the Notre Dame about the future of USC.

“I could rattle off all the stats, I could show you facilities, I could show you recruiting . . . I can show you the staff. I can go on about that for an hour. I just don’t think that it’s the appropriate time right now.”

Here is the bottom line: USC was worse in Year 2 than Year 1.

USC was worse in Year 3 than Year 2.

I’m using an old-fashioned measurement: Wins and losses.

Riley likes to talk. But he doesn’t deliver. There were some upset USC fans at the end of the game because they heard one of the radio analysts say the program was moving in the right direction and in a better place than a year ago.

I can point out areas that are better but you cannot say the program is better when it goes 6-6 and has struggled to beat good teams.

      1. Hilarious how many idiots tried to claim Dementia Joe was so much more honorable than Trump. Then again, he probably doesn’t even remember saying that he wouldn’t pardon Hunter. LOL

      2. The same Democrat and Never Trumper Cultist idiots claimed Senile Joe was “sharp as a tack” right up until the day George Clooney and Barack Hussein Obama led the July 21st, 2024 coup to depose him and replace him with Willie Brown’s Bimbo.

  1. Amazing how Wolf goes from allowing in any commentary, including ugly pictures, to censorship of inane sports and social comments

  2. Wiley seems like a safe enough subject to discuss, and the man said he did not want to talk about the future at that moment as he and the team processed a loss that could have been a win.

But Wiles says that he could “rattle off” improved statistics, facilities, recruiting and staff

  3. -The worst thing about that first ND interception for 100-yards was that the drama exhaled for SC fans and most turned to leave

      1. I usually don’t get involved in these ridiculous political flame wars but to Gabby I ask, why do Trump supporters always seem to jump to conclusions based on a headline without bothering to read the article? The title is the summary of a reader’s question to the Ethicist, to which the Ethicist gave a well thought out answer that amounted to “No.” No one is calling for civil war–that’s just a gross and reckless exaggeration.

  4. After the melee at Ohio St when Michigan tried to plant their school flag on Buckeye turf, it is probably time to ban that act

      1. It would be so stupid to claim it is disrespectful, as he always stabs our field, too, right on our logo!! It is about the land/opponent we are about to “conquer” (hopefully). It has NOTHING to do with the other team’s logo.
