Saturday Buzz: Who Had ASU In College Football Playoff Before USC?

Think back a week ago when the USC radio broadcast was emphasizing that the football program was in a better place than a year ago.

Meanwhile, Arizona State is headed to the College Football Playoff. Arizona State!

Lincoln Riley just went 6-6 in Year 3. Does Arizona State have any NIL? That’s usually the first excuse of the fanboys about USC’s shortcomings.

It took two years for ASU to make the College Football Playoff. Riley, on the other hand, can’t get his act together in three years with all the advantages of being at USC.

  1. To begin with, ASU has a Head Coach, staff, and players that are all in on ASU, unlike USC. Secondly, ASU has an offensive and defensive philosophy that aligns with the skill level of their players, unlike USC. That about cover it?

  2. Let’s face it. We have a very inept Board. Extremely bad hires from the top on down. They seem to not make conditions if employee fails to do their job. They pay them anyway

  3. Scooter,

Riley must recruit the local talent. He must get back to SC’s dna and that is run the ball, he must adapt to the physicality of the big 10 and keep the quickness. he must say hi to the boosters. He must accept and ebelish SC’s history. He must stop being a pencil neck geek.
