USC is projected to land Kentucky defensive lineman Keeshawn Silver. He is rated the No. 1 defensive line transfer by On3.
Should I be concerned that he had only one sack and one QB hurry in 12 games last season?
Or that he did not make any of the All-SEC team, which featured 15 defensive linemen, including his teammate, Deone Walker?
On the other hand, he’ll probably contribute more than Bear Alexander.
- Speaking of Alexander, CBS reports he will visit Penn State this weekend and is also considering Oregon and SMU. Personally, I can’t envision Oregon or Penn State putting up with his effort unless it changes.
Good news – maybe the reason he didn’t have more sacks is that he got doubled a lot.

Then why didn’t he make All SEC? His teammate made 3rd team All SEC, was he the one being double teamed?…https://x.com/frank144/status/1867345283837047178

Nose Tackles aren’t expected to put up big sack numbers. If anyone who watches for more than ten years will confirm that. His job is to be a beast against the run. That would be the first responsibility of a Nose Tackle.

Didn’t see he was an NT. 6’4″, 336 lbs, the young man will take up space in the middle for sure.
