Pete Carroll Does It Again

The Raiders are hiring 73-year-old Pete Carroll.

He once again wowed a franchise with his interview, like he did at USC 25 years ago.

So what happens to his class at USC? What a letdown for the students. They had to buy the “Win Forever” book and now the author is moving to Las Vegas. Maybe Carroll can teach via Zoom.

Let’s see how long it takes Carroll to hire his sons to the Raiders coaching staff. The Panthers fired Nate Carroll last week after just one season.

Some people might mention former USC player Kris Richard for defensive coordinator but they had a falling out and it would take a major reconciliation for them to reunite.

And when do the Raiders play the Chargers?

        Yesterday Gabby admitted that he had no intention of appearing for a boxing match. “Nobody fights over what is said on a blog.” He was incredulous that anyone should ask for an apology. (Posting fraudulently as steveg) In Gabby’s world, men are not the protectors and providers for their families. You can insult their wives, daughters, and mothers with impunity. He has has no code of honor and therefore believes that nobody else should live by one. Although he admits that he will not back up his words with a boxing match, he has now dishonesty posted at least 10 times the exact same response about how he showed up at the gym in Miami. Is this suppose to be amusing? Please stop ruining our blog with repetitive copy and paste posts.

  6. Hiring a 73 year old coach is totally a Raiders move. They had Kiffin wanted Sark and now they have PC.

    PC was great until Orgeron left, Chow was pushed out in favor of Bevis and Butthead and he put his son Fredo in charge of recruiting, not to mention trying to save all the LA gangbangers.

    God luck to him, he’s going to one of the most dysfunctional franchises going with a moron for an owner.

      1. Dave Emmerick looks like he could have been playing the banjo in the Deliverance movie. He is a Mike Leach guy, totally controlled by Riley. Lots of rumors and complaints about his relationships with the players. He purportedly insulted Quintin Joiner -told him he was a problem academically when that was not the case. Let the guy go find another job. We need a guy who can tell Riley that he cannot overpay freshman recruits and transfers without it negatively impacting existing players.
