USC Sunday Buzz: No New Image Here

Sir Lincoln of Riley actually showed up at the USC-Michigan State basketball game yesterday.

But before you think he’s turned over a new leaf (he hasn’t) and is open to becoming more involved at USC, Riley was only there because it was Junior Day and the recruits were taken to the game.

I’ll have some news in the next day or so on how hostile he has become to USC traditions.

  • Some people didn’t like that I was consistently critical of Andy Enfield.

Well, look at some of the wins Eric Musselman has registered with his slapped-together squad. USC upset No. 7 Michigan State yesterday, the Spartans’ first loss since November.

USC turned in a clunker against UCLA earlier in the week but at least the Trojans are turning in some inspired efforts (the victory at Illinois) that were nowhere to be found in the Enfield Era.

  • The crowd at the Galen Center was 8,251 but before getting too excited there were a lot of Michigan State fans.

  1. Basketball team playing well, beat a good Michigan State team, 8,200 fans in attendance and Riley is there with a boat load of recruits. This is at least a “glass half full” moment Scott.

      4. No right to block a freeway. All of them should be arrested. Use the national guard or military if necessary. Check their citizenship status and either throw them in jail for as long as the J6ers and/or deport them.

  12. -And Wiley picked an exciting SC-Michigan St game to entertain his young football recruits. The footballers got an earful of Trojan “tradition” (along with Michigan St’s)

    But before buying SC ‘Tournament’ tickets, the Trojans did surprise the Spartans jumping out to a 15-point lead which ‘State’ kept whittling down throughout. However credit to Troy for never giving up the lead
