Did you notice when Nebraska and Texas canceled their spring games, Matt Rhule and Steve Sarkisian announced it?
Has anyone heard from Lincoln Riley on the subject?
He’s probably too busy, given that he has only two general managers and more support staff than any coach in USC history.
It matters to athletic dept. employees because they have to deal with disgruntled fans and don’t get to even list Riley’s reason for the decision.
Rhule and Sarkisian are accountable to large fan bases. Riley . . . not so much.
Naturally the fanboy media types, who are actually fans, just go along and support it.
- Is USC going to make the Big Ten Tournament? That is suddenly a relevant question.
Why? Because only 15 teams make the tournament and USC is currently tied for 14th place in the standings. USC has lost five of its past six games. Eric Musselman is not thrilled with the travel as USC just lost games at Maryland and Rutgers. Blame Carol Folt.
KAM:News broke on Sunday night that the Philadelphia Eagles declined an invitation to the Trump White House following their victory in Super Bowl 59.
DON: No surprise – Their fanatical Democrat owner is Jeffrey Lurie — a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama donor who was reported by the New York Times to have disparaged me 7 years ago in a private meeting with other NFL owners.

So, the Eagles don’t care about the will of the people and democracy. As un-American as it gets.

The Eagles didn’t storm the Capitol like Trump supporters did when he lost in 2020 by millions of votes. If Trump supporters cared about the people and democracy, they would not have done that.
Insurrection is as anti-American as it gets. Declining an invitation is not. IfTrump supporters cared about the people and the Constitution, they’d know the Eagles have a 1st Amendment right to join the near half of voters who dislike a president who incited that anti-American insurrection.

KAM: Hanoi Jane Fonda Doubles Down on Communist Democrat Nonsense, Blasts Trump at SAG Awards
DON: There is zero comparison between what Fonda and her Hollywood cronies do—virtue-signaling from walled, guarded multimillion-dollar mansions—and the true sacrifices made by those who fought for real freedom and justice and expose corruption.

Fonda didn’t mention Epstein-bestie rapist Trump, the thug who incited the Jan 6 terror attack and who is worsening inflation with tarrifs, trade wars, and mass layoffs of middle class civil servants — conducted by illegal immigrant oligarch Musk, the world’s richest man and biggest welfare queen.
It’s just that when America-loving patriots like Fonda call for decency and compassion, deplorables automatically see it as an attack on Trump. Because he has none.

TOverall, people feel much better about the direction of the country and the economy. Democrats are cratering, down to 36% approval. Schumer’s ratings are a lot lower than Elon Musk. Voters are looking back on Biden presidency and the Dem Party years and scratching their heads on how they tolerated it.

So the SC football future is looking better. But they lost a lot of guys so 2025 doesn’t look that promising unless Maiava becomes Joe Montana

USC lost 22 players to the Portland only added 10 from the Portal . Duce is the most painful loss to me, he had such promise- he caught 23 passes for 396 yards and five touchdowns this season. https://www.lafbnetwork.com/ncaaf/usc-trojans/usc-trojans-recruiting/2025-usc-trojans-transfer-portal-tracker/

I thought Duce would get so many targets last season, given that CBs would be giving up so much height to him. So sad to see him go.

The reason for cancelling Spring games is a cynical one. The coaches are afraid that a player will highlight his talents in the game and that the player’s agent will then use the film to market the player to other programs to attract more NIL money. How do you run a program under these circumstances.
And if your the parent of a second stringer, don’t you want to see your boy get a chance to perform in front of a crowd. The boy has been telling you he can hold his own in practices but the coach doesn’t give him a chance to play. You are skeptical. But then he gets his chance in the Spring game and makes a few big plays.

KAM: During a recent discussion at Harvard University, former Biden senior advisor Mike Donilon delusionally said:
Now, lots of people have terrible debates. Lots of people have terrible debates. Usually, the Democrat party doesn’t lose its mind, but that’s what happened here. It melted down.
DON: Senile Joe — with a vacant “where the h— am I?” look on his face — was at times visibly confused, and other times, totally unintelligible. In my book — and the books of tens of millions of Americans, including untold numbers of Democrat voters — the former president’s disastrous performance was well beyond a “terrible debate.”
Not to further nitpick, but even left-“leaning” CNN and the BBC ran headlines calling the performance “disastrous” and “incoherent.”

Scott, in standings, when there are tied teams, they all are given the highest available place. Figured you would know that by now.
