Has any rivalry been overhyped as much as USC-UCLA in women’s basketball this season?
USC cruised to an 80-67 victory last night and swept the series en route to the Big Ten championship.
Neither game was very competitive and if this were a men’s sport, UCLA coach Cori Close would be getting destroyed on social media. Does she make adjustments? Did she ever change how UCLA guarded JuJu Watkins? How is her star player (Lauren Betts) taking only 11 shots in the game?
My spies at the game say they did not see Jen Cohen. Was she there? USC clinched the Big Ten Conference at Pauley Pavilion. Seems like a no-brainer that she would be there. And Carol Folt too.

JuJu scored 68 of the 151 SC scored against ucla, this won’t cut it in the tournament against teams that have a coach who makes adjustments, SC needs more balanced scoring

I thought Gabby said a few days back that he was going to the USC marching band pep rally today at the Palms at 2:00 and wanted to “meet up” with Scott. Instead, he spent the day trolling the blog. Once again a threat followed by a no show. That’s our Cowardly Gabby. All talk, no walk.
