USC lost to UCLA, 72-67, in the Big Ten women’s basketball championship game.
Both teams should get No. 1 seeds when the NCAA Tournament pairings are released.
JuJu Watkins made only 9 of 28 shots in the game. One issue I have with Watkins is when she is struggling from the field, she doesn’t do much to get her teammates more shots. She had two assists today. She needs to make her teammates better.
I actually think USC losing is a good thing because the Trojans would have been the No. 1 overall seed of the NCAA Tournament if they won. Now they will have less pressure in the NCAA’s.

- USC will play Rutgers in the first round of the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament Wednesday. Unfortunately, the game will be on Peacock.

Agree. SC relies too heavily on outside shooting, much of it beyond the 3 point line. Only three baskets in the paint for the entire game.
