USC Notes: There’s Always a Trojan Connection

Rodney Peete went all the way to the Tokyo Dome and brought a glove. He really wanted a foul ball.

    1. It is hilarious how the mentally disturbed are vandalizing Teslas. Yet their side loves to claim the Right are the ones prone to violence or that they are the uneducated!! LMAO

  1. The left and particularly leftist social media platforms and MSM were able to stymie free speech by colluding with the Biden administration and advancing their false narratives. Musk changed that by purchasing twitter/X and opening it up. And the left has hated Musk ever since.

    1. Musk is a non-elected jerk period. Trump, Vance & Musk

are hateful people plain and simple. What sane leaders in

high possessions uses such crude remarks in public.

      1. An “unelected jerk” who may be able to save the country trillions by identifying government fraud, waste, and corruption. Hasn’t charged the country a dime for this service. Rescued the abandoned astronauts, allowed hurricane victims access to Starlink, and gave us X, a true social media platform where one can exercise their free speech. But the real issue to trojsteve5 is whether the Big three use crude language. It’s not the open border, the multiple wars going on, the 36 trillion dollar debt, or the economy. Trojsteve5 must be another Cowardly Gabby alias.

  2. At least Rodney Peete made a cleaner catch than his buddy Affholter did in the 1987 UCLA game.

    1. I hope it wasn’t caught in bounds — personally, I like the idea of Affholter securing the ball a good half foot beyond the line. It just feels better…..

    2. Don’t forget Scott Miller’s “Rollover Touchdown” against SC in 1990 at the Rose bowl. That wasn’t a touchdown – but you think it was.Have a nice day. #scoreboard

  3. KAM: FOR YEARS TALKING OF THE DEEP STATE WAS CALLED CONSPIRACY THEORY. THEN YOU DISCOVER THAT INSIDERS WERE TALKING ABOUT IT IN 1961.

DON: I loved watching Democrat minds explode after I released Arthur Schlesinger’s full 15-page memo calling for JFK to break up the CIA in 1961. Schlesinger called the CIA a rogue “state within a state.” “No one knows how many potential problems … are being created by CIA clandestine operations.”

  4. KAM: . “I’m beginning to believe that the Democratic Party is taking its direction from a right-leaning comedian with a taste for bourbon.

DON: It’s making so many bad decisions that it’s almost like I am in their command and purposely giving it advice to make it look as though it’s nuttier than squirrel droppings.”

  5. KAM:Trump is acting to restore the law from the depredations of lawless, indeed un-constitutional, arrangements whereby the core powers of the presidency and of Congress are undermined by unaccountable bureaucrats.

DON: I am acting to rescue the executive powers of the presidency from the un-Constitutional interference of district court judges. It is the latter that has focused everyone’s attention these last weeks as various judges have issued orders to say that the President of the United States may not fire people who work for him, that he must spend money controlled by agencies of the executive branch, and that he may not deport certain illegal aliens. The first sentence of Article II of the Constitution is clear : “The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.

  6. Rodney Peete, who almost won the Heisman at SC, encountered me before the big game in 1988 when I walked up to him and said, “Hey Rodney, I hate ucla!” to which he calmly replied, “Why?”

    1. On the “You Bet Your Life” program, Groucho asked a woman with 10 children why she had so many kids. She responded with “I love my husband so much Groucho” to which he replied “well I love my cigar but I take it out of my mouth every now and then.”

  9. Peete didnt bring a glove, that section of the stadium sees alot of line drive foul balls so gloves and helmets are on each seat when fans arrive so they can protect themselves. I didnt even investigate this to report it and I was aware of that…
