When Will JuJu Watkins Return?

JuJu Watkins was named the U.S. Basketball Writers’ Assn. Player of the Year today.

I don’t think I agree with ESPN analyst Rebecca Lobo in the clip below that assumes Watkins will redshirt next season. I think it’s too soon to know.

She mentions that Paige Bueckers of UConn took a year off. But people respond differently and recovery times are not always the same.

If it took Watkins nine months or so to recover and she got cleared by doctors in January, I think she would want to play the rest of the season. I’ve seen some athletes come back in seven months. Some take 13 months. That’s why I’m not assuming anything yet.

But if there is way for Watkins to play, she probably will.

    DON: What is the number NPR’s Katherine Maher admits it’s ‘concerning’, that 100% of her editorial board—87 members—are registered Democrats, with zero Republicans. NPR’s blatant partisan imbalance is unacceptable—taxpayers should not be forced to foot the bill for a one-sided echo chamber.

  4. KAM: Scott Adams has been arguing for a while now that the Dems have evolved into the Chick Party, and the Republicans have become the Dudes Party. And the Dude appeal cuts across all races. No matter what race, most guys want jobs, and to be able to pay the bills.

KAM: Something stinks in Pennsylvania… The 36th district has not had a Democrat state Senator “since it moved from Philadelphia to Lancaster County in 1979.” Lancaster County went +16 for Trump just 4 months ago And yet we’re supposed to believe *Republicans* put the Democrat candidate over the top with MAIL-IN votes? I.e. there were more mail-in votes for the Democrat candidate than Democrat voters who requested them

    DON: Hard to believe the Democrats would blatantly steal another election without the Senile Joe DOJ there to look the other way.
