Just Another Busy Saturday For USC

Four-star running back Deshonne Redeaux of Oaks Christian High School committed to USC today.

Among the schools he had offers from were Georgia, Alabama and Notre Dame. He averaged 126 yards rushing per game and scored 18 touchdowns last season.

  • Meanwhile, Wesley Yates, who was arguably USC’s best basketball player, has entered the transfer portal with a “do not contact” tag, which means he already knows where he is going. There is speculation he might go to Kentucky. He averaged 14.1 points and shot 44 percent on 3-pointers for USC.

USC has added freshman Jacob Cofie (6-10, 230) from Virgina. The true freshman averaged 7.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game with the Cavaliers.

  • Remember Tre White, who played at USC his freshman year? He then went to Louisville and spent this season at Illinois. He just announced he is transferring to Kansas.
  • JuJu Watkins won the Wooden Award today. She is the first USC player to win the women’s award, which started in 2004.

  1. So Cal deserves some kind of Honorable Mention for coming up with the idea of “admitting” to lying…. just to convince Kathy to go away.

    I’d like to “admit” I don’t live in Maui, wasn’t forced to evacuate the Oakland or Lahaina fires and am not married to Susan Sola.

    2. Yeah, trusting that pest to leave is about as likely as trusting her to show up in Barstow. She knows no one is going to do that. That’s why she yaps like the Chihuahua behind the fence, pretending to be tougher than the big dogs on the street.
