Wesley Yates, who was arguably USC’s top basketball player, is returning to Washington, where he spent the 2023-24 season.
This means he will also face USC next season.
Yates started 24 of 33 games for USC and averaged 14.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.
Former USC assistant coach Tony Bland is an assistant at Washington.
USC is making a strong push for Maryland guard Rodney Rice, who averaged 13.8 points per game this past season.
