USC Thursday Buzz: QB Nonsense Continues

UCLA is offering Nico Iamaleava significantly less than the $4 million he wanted from Tennessee, according to On3.

The question is how the offer compares to the $2.5 million Iamaleava was supposed to make with Tennessee. North Carolina and Tulane have pulled out of the sweepstakes and teams seem to be waiting with lower offers than Iamaleava would want.

What is Iamaleava worth to UCLA?

  • Oregon cornerback Rodrick Pleasant is in the transfer portal. He chose the Ducks over USC but has made little impact in his first two seasons. He went to Serra High School in Gardena.
  • Jazzy Davidson is now ranked the No. 1 player in the nation by ESPNW for the Class of 2025.
  • USC women’s basketball finally landed a transfer with a commitment from Georgia Tech guard Kara Dunn. She averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds. She was also first-team All-ACC.
  • Former USC guard Oziyah Sellers has committed to St. John’s. He averaged 13.7 points per game last season at Stanford.

      1. No worries, Trump is on the case! The Trump administration has created a task force to ensure that men do not play in women’s sports, and to help enforce the president’s executive order against such competition. The task force, entitled the Title IX Special Investigations Team (SIT), will be a joint effort between the Department of Education and the Department of Justice (DOJ), according to an April 4 press release.

      1. Funny, since they’re the ones who claimed (when going after Trump) that no one is above the law. But they ignore the fact that illegals believe they are above the law!
