Alijah Arenas Involved In Serious Car Crash

USC basketball star commit Alijah Arenas was involved in a serious car crash early Thursday morning, hospitalized and placed into an induced coma, according to Shams Charania.

TMZ reports Arenas crashed his Tesla Cybertruck in a Los Angeles neighborhood and emergency responders arrived at the scene at 4:55 a.m. By the time fire dept. personnel arrived, everyone had made it out of the truck but the front of the vehicle was ablaze, TMZ said.

Arenas is a five-star prospect from Chatsworth High School and the son of former NBA player Gilbert Arenas. Chatsworth does not have school today.

Charania reported the truck “crashed into a tree/fire hydrant with fire involved” and said initial tests revealed Arenas did not suffer any broken bones.
