I’ve been critical of USC basketball for only taking mid-major transfers but that changed today when Auburn’s Chad Baker-Mazara committed.

He averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He is Auburn’s second-leading scorer last season.

No sooner did Baker-Mazara, then Keonte Jones of Cal State Northridge decommitted from USC.

The basketball portal is a joke.

By the way, Baker-Mazara will be 26 years old next season. He has attended San Diego State, Duquesne, Auburn and junior college.

Meanwhile,former USC guard Desmond Claude will visit Florida this week. Virginia, Kansas and North Carolina have also expressed interest in Claude.
