Coliseum Expands Olympics Role

The Coliseum’s going to be extremely busy during the 2028 Olympics.

It will co-host the Opening Ceremonies with SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on July 14, 2028, it will host the track and field events during the first week of the Olympics and be the sole host for the Closing Ceremony on July 28, 2028.

Additionally, the Coliseum will host the Paralympics Closing Ceremony on August 27, 2028.

We spent more than anyone else but virtually every industrial country was ahead of us in STEM disciplines. And we spent more on infrastructure than anyone else but we don’t have a bullet train from LA to SF and less than a hundred Federally financed EV charging stations. Where did the money go?
