USC Thursday Buzz: Long Live The King

That’s the attitude USC’s athletic dept. always operates with, always making the latest person in charge the best! They have even put out press releases in the past criticizing coaches who were fired to justify their removal (thanks, Tim Tessalone!).

Here’s another example: The hiring of new strength coach Trumain Carroll. After pumping up strength coach Bennie Wylie all last spring about how the Trojans added 1,400 pounds of muscle, USC now says it’s a “new era of physicality” with Carroll.

So Wylie wasn’t so great last year?
