USC To Face Penn State In Big Ten Baseball Tournament

Despite losing 2 of 3 games to Washington this week, USC earned the No. 4 seed for the Big Ten baseball tournament.

The Trojans (34-20) will open against Penn State on Thursday at 12 p.m. PT and then face Washington on Friday at 8 a.m. PT. All games will be at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb., the site of the College World Series.

Now some good news: All games will be on the Big Ten Network!

    1. You take out a pitcher after five innings and only 62 pitches thrown

      having a no-hitter. Replace with a stiff who has a 7+ ERA. No idea

    I feel like as the 4 seed USC got a bad draw compared to the 5 seed Washington. USC would ultimately have to play 4 days in a row to win the tourney. While also facing Washington in the last pool play game on no rest while Washington gets a day off in between.

    1. Ah nevermind. I see that if all teams in a pool end 1-1 then the highest seeded team advances. So should Penn State beat Washington and USC beat Penn State then USC advances and game against Washington is meaningless. So that is the advantage.
