No. The first thing communist/fascist dictators do is wipe out the whole notion of freedom of speech. They control the newspapers and broadcast journalist. They enter into alliances with media outlets. They order social media platforms like twitter and Facebook not to publish items that are contrary to the agenda like the virus started in a Chinese lab, that the vaccines are ineffective and have horrendous side affects, masks don’t work nor does social distancing, ivermectin is safe and effective, school and business closures are unnecessary and do nothing to control the virus, ect. And once they control speech, they go after their political opponents. File baseless lawsuits against them with the intent of bankrupting them or incarcerating them, or getting them thrown off the ballot. Military parades are way down the list.

On second thought, the SC-Notre Dame rivalry is in danger. Wiley said it himself– “If it’s a choice between having a better chance of winning a National Championship or maintaining the Notre Dame rivalry, then, shoot, you got to look at it”
The evidece is in– SC travels to ND’s stadium in odd years such as 2025, where the Trojans historically lose 2 out of every 3 games
Coach McKay’s 4 National Titles came in even years when playing them in L.A. (where Troy wins half the time); the only exception was 1967 when the incomparable OJ Simpson pulled it off
