USC Notes: Big Talk Time

“Change has never scared us,” USC proclaims.

“We’re going to absolutely dominate college football,” general manager Chad Bowden says.

But playing Notre Dame is another matter.

  1. KAM: As Los Angeles burns, here’s your reminder that the State of California under Gavin Newsom sent armed law enforcement on December 10, 2021 to shut down a Christian preschool & strip its license forever with 100 kids because they wouldn’t force 2-year-olds to wear masks.

DON: The problem with California is that their Democrat political leadership is so captured by ideology that they literally think shutting down Christian pre-schools is more moral than arresting rioters who throw bricks at cops.

  2. KAM: Waymo Robotaxis just suspended service in Los Angeles after leftist rioters torched their vehicles.

DON: But don’t worry, Gavin Newsom says he has it all under control and the media say it’s peaceful.

    1. …huh…. that’s funny…that’s what Gavin Newsom said during the Oakland riots…. and the San Francisco riots…. “everything is under control”…..

      “Don’t panic…everything is under control”

    1. Karen Bass just said, If you vandalize our city and “it is found to be 100% unacceptable”, you will pay the price. LMAO!

So some vandalism is considered acceptable!

She is such an embarrassment to our city and our alma mater. How someone THAT stupid could be elected is unbelievable. At least Joe had dementia as his excuse.

    1. My boy Homan will be at the ice cream social. He’ll be asking the 5,000 or so CCP international students for valid visas and passports. And he’ll probably round up a few jew hating Palestinians too as well as the people doing cleaning, food service and maintenance work. No worries for Cowardly Gabby though. He’s never been a college student or someone who works and was permanently banned from the ice cream special after playing hide the chocolate cone.

      1. I hope Trump understands that —as a political reality —he’s got 90% of the country on his side when it comes to deporting illegal immigrants who are rapists, murderers and/or drug cartel members —-but only 45% of the country wants the rest deported.

      2. I hope Trump understands that all 30 million illegal aliens who have spread like metastasizing cancer cells to all 50 states have to go .

      3. Most of those 20-30 million SHOULD go —but it’s a question of priorities. Taxpayers want new trade deals with China and the European Union, tax relief and spending cuts NOW. If Trump doesn’t deliver he’ll lose seats in both Houses, get impeached and spend the rest of his life in hearings and depositions. I don’t want that.

  3. KAM: The entire immigration debate in US comes down to if you see this undisputed fact (we have an imported servant class) as a positive thing, or a negative thing.

Cesar Chavez warned us about this 60 years ago. US citizens are being undercut by slave wages and a permanent underclass living on slave wages.

    1. Karen Bass and friends are trying to address this by imposing higher minimum wages with mandatory health care benefits. No taxes on tips and overtime will also benefit the servant class. Hard to say that $30 an hour for a chamber maid in LA is a slave wage but it is still not a sufficient wage. Ultimately, the middle class homeowner will be squeezed out. Young couples with children in LA County will not be able to buy a home when the medium price for a three bedroom is now approaching one million. They would have to make wages in the $400,000 a year range to comfortably service the mortgage payment and property taxes and only a small percentage of the population fall within this category.

  4. KAM: Aside from illegal immigrant murderers and assaulters, only 45% of the country wants the immigrants deported (Right, MG?). You think most of that 45% is made up of your MAGAs?

DON: Could be. Look, everybody wanted to see something done about the overflow into our country

  5. KAM: And do you sense some American prejudice against ‘Brown’ people?

DON: Well, we’ve come a long way since the 1960s, the prejudice has mellowed out, but most people will still marry in their own ‘group,’ if that is a sign of ‘prejudice’ or mere bias

    1. KAM: I sense Hispanics supporting Trump.

DON: You are correct. In the 2024 election, I received approximately 43% of the Latino vote, marking an increase from 32% in 2020. My support was particularly strong among Latino men, with 48% voting for him, driven largely by economic concerns and dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party’s handling of issues important to this demographic.

  6. KAM: Let’s lighten up for a minute. Tell me again that comic George Burn’s joke about the government

DON: Right, Burns said “Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy driving taxicabs and cutting hair”

  7. “We’re going to absolutely dominate college football.” says Bowden, who with that silly boast reclaims the nickname ‘Bow-Down’.

There ain’t going to be another Alabama-type run with the parity that exists among the top teams. Win a National Championship once every 10 years might be the best that could be expected if you’re not an ‘Ohio St’

It is already 21-years since the Trojans’ last championship in 2004. So they’re due!
