USC Morning Buzz: Don’t Upset The Propaganda Machine

So yesterday, a twitter account that has 946,000 followers showed video of Drake London trying to dribble a football and said he was “showing off his ball handling skills from his college hoops days at USC.”

I retweeted it and noted London “played a total of six minutes at USC.”

This naturally triggered a few people. They didn’t care that London played way more basketball at Moorpark High School or on the club basketball circuit. I was being negative by repeating his college career minutes.

You know what’s funny? I spoke to some people yesterday who were on the staff of the USC basketball program the 2019-2020 season when London joined the team and they thought that tweet mentioning USC was hilarious.

But of course there is that segment of USC fans who can’t handle the truth and want everything to be spun like propaganda.

These are the same type of people who want to end the Notre Dame rivalry and defend Lincoln Riley. They aren’t a majority but they are warriors on social media.
