KAM: A May 2025 study from Michael Mische, a professor at the University of Southern California, said that California could see $8 prices by 2026. Following its publication, media referenced the USC study, and State Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones demanded that Gov. Mimbo avert the coming California energy crisis.

    Mische’s study is largely focused on the growing number of oil refineries leaving California, an ongoing issue that has the potential to send gas prices soaring in the long term. Earlier this year, for example, Valero announced that it plans to “idle, restructure, or cease refining operations” at its Benicia refinery by 2026, and the Phillips 66 refinery in Los Angeles is set to close this year. Mische’s study points out that fewer refineries in the state will raise gas prices because there would be fewer facilities producing oil.

    DON: Refineries are packing upand leaving Governor Mimbo’s One Party Democrat state for a number of reasons, one of the biggest being Global Warmist California’s ridiculous gas and air quality regulations.

  3. KAM: a new Gallup Poll finds that 58 percent of U.S. adults are “very” or “extremely” proud to be an American. This is a record low. For purposes of comparison consider that, in January 2001, when Gallup first ran this poll, 87 percent of those asked were very or extremely proud Americans. After 9/11, that shot up to 90 percent.

    Dismal as this drop is, at least we can say that most Americans are still proud of their country.

    DON: Not so for Democrats—not even close. From Gallup: “Democrats are mostly responsible for the drop in U.S. pride this year, with 36% saying they are extremely or very proud, down from 62% a year ago.” Republicans are at 92 percent, and independents are at 53 percent.

  9. Perhaps Beong is the guy – I can imagine that he could be much, much better than most of the other loopy candidates that would be interviewed.

    Folt was a fraud Trojan from the get-go. I have no idea what they were thinking of when she was hired. There are so many competent women if that is what was desired. She wasn’t one of them and it was obvious.

  10. –‘Without-a-Folt’ was not perfect but she wasn’t totally imperfect either. She helped SC football along and was an active spectator at many various SC games, including her final days watching another SC national championship unfold
