USC Morning Buzz: Donuts For Everyone!

The USC football program gave the construction workers on the new football facility donuts from Krispy Kreme this morning. Let them eat glazed donuts.

  • The USC layoffs are going into full effect. USC Annenberg School for Communication laid off 13 people this week. I’m told 12 people were laid off from the university communications dept.
  • I will talking USC football with 1620-AM in Omaha, Neb., today at 11 a.m. PT.
  • I can’t believe USC let someone else think of this first. Oklahoma is charging nearly $700 for two fans to go to a post-game press conference. Outrageous.

  1. KAM: Aren’t glazed donuts bad for you? The USC School of Medicine must be appalled.

DON: The USC School of Dentistry needs the business.

  5. DON: USC says that we cannot afford to pay decent ‘bread’ to the football building workers, so “Let them eat cake” or the equivalent

  7. KAM:  The Trojans were deemed the unfortunate recipient as  The Most Over Rated Team of the College Football Playoff era by On3 Sports’ Brett McMurphy.McMurphy noted that USC narrowly edged Auburn and Texas A&M for the top spot by his calculations. LSU and Wisconsin rounded out the top five most overrated programshttps://x.com/On3sports/status/1955298460665553330?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1955298460665553330%7Ctwgr%5E01e3fdbddf7c949e0b400242a0056e076d2e02d5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fclutchpoints.com%2Fncaa-football%2Fusc-football-news-trojans-tabbed-most-overrated-since-2014.

DON: Since the College Football Playoffs debuted, USC has been ranked in the preseason top 25 every year until 2025. However, they have yet to make the playoffs.
