College Football Is Back All Right

It’s amazing how fans view things.

An Oregon fan describes the USC game thusly: “After trailing Missouri State early, usc pulls through.”

Meanwhile, a USC fan says the Trojans have the deadliest offense in Big Ten based on . . . Missouri State.

  1. Geaux Ducks? Please, you have to do better than copy LSU. Right off the bat, this quack fan looks to be uninspired.

Bear seemed to be underwhelming, didn’t start for the quacks, and had two assisted tackles.

I can now see why USC didn’t seem to mind losing Zach Branch all that much. True frosh Tanook Hines ran a 10.03 100 this past spring. At 195 lbs, he is faster and bigger and taller than Zach.

  2. Some more Trojan positives– Didn’t see any “Aren’t I great” celebrations after most of the touchdowns…No fighting penalties….and the towel wavers have been replaced by the ‘twist-and-shout’ crowd

  3. Waymond Jordan looked special in the Saturday scrimmage. Great patience waiting for the hole to open, acceleration, and a tremendous jump cut. If McKay or Robinson were coaching, the guy would be running it 30 times a game. He will play on Sundays.

    Bishop Fitzgerald looks special too.

    1. I think the Alabama defensive backfield are all California recruits including Domani Jackson who now bad mouths the USC program. I take a little bit of delight when I hear that program is faltering. Particularly when their pass defense falters.

  6. DON: Not to mention ex-Number one Texas. It is too early to be thinking of firing any coaches, but Vince Lombardi said it right: “If you aren’t fired with enthusiasm, you’ll be fired with enthusiasm”

DON: Those two games should tell us if the Ducks are “for real”.

  7. DON: Maybe the team needed a little ‘ego-boost’ against a less than average football team. Almost everybody got to play and did well, and at the end, the smiles on their faces said it all

KAM: It is a score that will be remembered because few teams hit 70-points

DON: Still, Wiley calls a pass play for a touchdown to get to 70 that probably didn’t go over well at Mo State.

KAM: Slaughter-games lose their drama, they’re largely boring

DON: But what made this slaughter different was the multitude of exciting long runs

  8. KAM: Democrats are in deep mourning. Because he took a day off, Democrats began spreading the rumor Saturday that President Trump was DEAD! The hateful Mainstream Moderate Democrats are still enamored of Senile Joe Biden who wasn’t seen for days at a time and they got butthurt that Trump took a day off. Rumors of Trump’s death are greatly exaggerated, to paraphrase Mark Twain.

DON: You have got to feel for the benighted Democrats. They have been trying to wish craft bad things for me for a decade. Mourning has become their go to emotional expression. After anger and envy, that is. Poor little toddlers. They need for Mommy to come hold them.

KAM: They have a run-and-throw quarterback– SC’s ‘favorite’ type

DON: And don’t be fooled by their ‘last place’ standing in the ‘Big-10’. It is a tall order to win on the road anywhere in the Midwest

KAM: 100,000s of high school kids play football, and yet only about 20,000 will ever play college ball. At the college level, no matter the quality of the team, all these guys know how to play football well

But Democrat Chicago Mayor Johnson and Democrat Illinois Governor Pritzker  are taking a stand against President Trump’s attempt to stop the out of control crime and violence and blood running in the gutters.

DON: Mainstream Moderate Democrats in 2025 are Pro Crime. Former Chicago Mayor Richard Daley rolls over in his grave.

    1. And the great majority of the residents of Chicago, of all races, want law and order. They want the gang bangers and rapists gone. The mayor and governor suppose to represent the people. If they did, they would be pleading with Trump to bring in the national guard and troops and flood the zone like he did in D.C.
