USC Morning Buzz: Who Was Winner Of The Week?

Yogi Roth has built an identity around USC and said during the Missouri State game the Trojan Knights “are keepers of the Victory.”

He forgot to mention the “Bell” as in Victory Bell. That’s kind of important.

  • Clay Helton did a press conference this morning in Oxnard, where Georgia Southern is practicing this week.

“I have so much gratitude for having been a Trojan,” Helton said.

  • One player who did not play Saturday was highly touted cornerback RJ Sermons. He should be a high school senior but reclassified so perhaps he is going to redshirt.

One thing I like is Sermons wears No. 42, the number of Ronnie Lott.

  • Former USC players Gary Bryant and Emmanuel Pregnon started for Oregon. One player who did not start was Bear Alexander, who made two tackles. Bryant caught four passes and scored a TD.
  • Former USC tailback Raleek Brown — now at Arizona State — rushed for 38 yards and a TD while catching three passes in the Sun Devils’ debut.

WINNER OF THE WEEK

How about Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar? He got pushed out at UCLA for Nico Iamaleava and completed 16 of 28 passes for 247 yards and three TD’s in a victory over Syracuse. As for Iamaleava, never mind.

    1. KAM” It was Pete Arbogast’s Perfect Weekend!

DON: A “Perfect Weekend” is a USC win coupled with losses by their closest rivals, Notre Dame and UCLA.

    1. KAM: Three years ago today, Senile Joe gave his tyrant speech: “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. … But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”https://x.com/hemultiplyus/status/1960700343463108887lol

DON: All Democrats and their Fake News toadies pretended Biden wasn’t senile that night.

      1. KAM: True, but Senile Joe was an absolute lunatic three years ago with that ridiculous spectacle. How could his handlers have thought that was appropriate?

DON: It made one wonder if Senile Joe’s advisor was  Leni Riefenstahl with the full Nazi backdrop.

DON: And even though it has come out that Biden was a puppet and the White House was run by his advisors, Tranny Bruin still won’t admit she was wrong! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAJAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      4. Usually a pretty great crew of of people. Once, when I was with friends next door at the Fish Market, I kept going over to ask this Aussie what the score of the Minnesota/Seahawks game was….he finally said “where are hanging out, mate?” I told him and he said “I’ll come over and tell you if they win, ok?”

      2. KAM: I appreciated what Pete did for USC but he planted the seeds for his own destruction with his jealousy of Norm Chow and his stubbornly not willing to allow Marshawn Lynch win the Super Bowl. He also surrounded himself with yes men like Drunk Sark and Lame Kiffin and shamelessly practiced nepotism with Spaulding which came back to bite him.

DON: Yes his massive ego betrayed him. And then he made up some bizarre Win Forever cult and he had no devil’s advocates around to call him on that nonsense.

    1. Trump had some azz whippings. Two assassination attempts. A bullet actually hit his head. Two phony impeachments. A phony civil case wherein a Democratic judge concluded that he defrauded a banker out of 500 million when the banker testified that he didn’t rely on anything Trump said, did his own analysis of collateral, was paid on time, and wanted to do business with him again. Of course, case was overturned on appeal.

    2. KAM: Today in Santa Monica pro-terror Mainstream Moderate Democrat “protestors” attacked several Jewish people. In one video, the man was wearing a Star of David and gets threatened/hit. In the other, two pro-terror thugs hiding their faces simply attack a Jewish man who was walking.

DON: Bad people like Cowardly Gabby and Tranny Bruin gravitate towards Palestine because it allows them to express their sociopathy while pretending that they’re fighting for justice.

DON: I knew that SC’s 6-foot-6 Eric Gentry reminded me of a long ago player, 6’7″ Ted Hendricks, a Trojan from 1965 to 1968, and nicknamed the “Mad Stork” for his long built

KAM: –Not to be mean but he is injury-prone, and so SC is in day-3 of practice, and no Gentry injury report

Now I remember that I, along with probably most people, was saying at the beginning, ‘Oh, you know, by the 4th of July… the economy was going to be tanked by then,’ and I was kind of like, ‘Well, that seems right to me,’”

      🚨

“The stock market is at record highs.” “I don’t see a country in a depression at all. I see people out there just living their lives.” “And I would have thought — and I gotta own it — that these tariffs were going to f*c k i n g sink this economy by this time — and they didn’t.”

DON: July 4th has come and gone and Cowardly Gabby didn’t say a word about the predictions of economic apocalypse. You libs love to make predictions that don’t come true.
