USC Depth Chart Needs Makeover

USC puts out a depth chart during the season but the usefulness is debatable.

For example, the depth chart updated last night lists Micah Banuelos as the backup left guard but he started the Georgia Southern game at right guard and is expected to start again on Saturday at Purdue.

The depth chart basically hasn’t changed since training camp on the web site even though it claims to be updated Wednesday. You can view it here.

Does anyone at USC even ask Lincoln Riley about the depth chart for updates? Maybe they afraid to bother him.

But it’s not cool for the fans or media who want to see what changes are made to the lineup.

And it’s really unfair to the players who get promoted.

  1. I think there are reporters who interview Riley every week. Why don’t they ask him to keep the depth chart updated. Why don’t they ask him if Banuelos is now the starting guard. Why don’t they ask him if Alani Noa has been demoted and why – poor performance or disciplinary reasons.

      1. I am disappointed in Sparrow regarding his comments on Charlie Kirk but lets move on and talk about football. Purdue is a must win game. We can’t continue to lose on the road. If we lose to Purdue the whole year may spiral out of control and we may lose a great recruiting class.

Odom coached Maiava at UNLV. Does that give him insight on how to frustrate him. Josh Henson coached the offensive line at USC and now coaches for Purdue. Does that give Purdue any advantages.

  3. KAM:We’ve lost our Flo. Rest in Peace Mark Volman. Such an incredible talent with The Turtles and The Mothers of Invention.

DON: Mark could play almost any instrument and without a doubt is the prototype of being the original hype man in modern music.

  4. KAM: Charlie Kirk was m u r d e r e d during a debate.

    Here were his last words:

Questioner: Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass s h o o t e r s over the last 10 years?

    Charlie Kirk: Too many.

Charlie Kirk: Counting or not counting gang violence?….

    Then he was s h o t and k i l l e d. And the feds say the ammo the s h o o t e r left behind was engraved with “trangender ideology”.

    DON: Quite a coincidence, huh?

  5. KAM: NFL Shows More Class Than House Democrats – Holds Moment of Silence for Charlie Kirk at Packers Commanders Game. Yesterday, House Republicans tried to hold a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk and were basically shouted down by House Democrats. It was a sickening display of Mainstream Moderate Democrats.

The NFL has just shown that they have more class than House Democrats. They held a moment of silence for Kirk at the Packers/Commanders game as did the NY Yankees.

DON: Isn’t it amazing that these pro-sports leagues have a better sense of common decency than most Mainstream Moderate Democrats serving in the House of Representatives?

DON: Some opinions won’t be persuaded by contrary facts

KAM: Anyway, back to SC playing Purdue tomorrow

DON: I would love to be at Purdue. Probably almost a sellout, and it is ‘Big Bad SC’ coming to town, with the Hoosiers thinking their team has a chance

    2. The pseudo-intellectual defaulted to obfuscation and deflection. Yesterday, you assigned equal blame to the right for the left’s words and actions. And as expected, you have now twisted your own words saying assassins come from both sides of the aisles. That’s not what you wrote and think, nor is it what you would like to believe. Your moral superiority act is tired and you are not an intellectual.

KAM: I looked up Hoosier, origin unknown, but it refers to a midwest man being ‘Wilderness tough”

DON: And who would want to tangle with a seasoned Boilermaker?–This Purdue team is no Mo State or Helton-soft

KAM: And they want to prove they are not a last place Big-10 team. Does SC know what is in store for them?

DON: The Trojans near-decade football run with Carrot put Trojan football back on the map, and some folks still hold that image

KAM: A 20-year drought fot SC football until along comes Carrot

DON: And since he took off it has been a generation of largely mediocre Trojan play
