UCLA Fires DeShaun Foster

After an 0-3 start, UCLA has fired DeShaun Foster.

What an admission of the dire state of the program.

According to UCLA, “a comprehensive national search for a new head coach will begin immediately. Martin Jarmond and Executive Senior Associate AD Erin Adkins will be aided in the search by a to-be-named-later committee composed of accomplished sports and business executives and UCLA greats.”

If UCLA is smart, they will keep Jarmond completely out of it. He hired Foster. No need to allow him to make another mistake. And how much money will be available? That’s always an issue with UCLA.

Tim Skipper will be the interim coach.

    Jarmond will be next. Just when you think the gutties have hit bedrock, they put the diamond tip on the drill and blast through the bottom.

  5. Speaking of Coaches: Michigan State is coached by former Oregon State coach, Jonathon Smith [who did a great job rebuilding that team]. He’s a far better ‘game coach’ than Riley …so we need to be way ahead in the 4th quarter if we don’t wanna see Riley get the crap outcoached outta him in the final 4 minutes.

    We also have to hope that Michigan State’s top receiver doesn’t play —he came up limp yesterday. If he’s good to go we won’t be able to stop him [Michigan State has one of the best receiving units in the country].
