    1. PT: He was a defensive player. Got hit in the neck/head area and wasn’t able to move. I was thinking he broke a vertebra with intrusion into the spinal column and associated paralysis but thankfully he is better now.

  2. Great to see the young man is ok, it looked like a bad spinal cord injury from the way he was being treated on the field.

BTW, quite a few were posting about the bad officiating during the Purdue game last week. Turns out that the head ref had been suspended for incompetence last season, and the back judge was a Purdue fan. Welcome to the Big Ten!

      1. If USC’s 0-Line held as much as Purdue and Michigan State we’d have around 150 yards of penalties for both those games — I guess we’re gonna have to get used to it….’Old Time’ Big Ten Teams are probably gonna get favored by the refs over us for a few more seasons……

      2. KAM: I wonder why Carol Folt didn’t take that into account before leaving the friendly confines of the Pac12?

DON: She also didn’t imagine jet lag flying three time zones for a game would affect our players. Brilliant!
