USC Finally Bringing Back Hall Of Fame Inductions

USC athletic director Jen Cohen announced today that there will be a new Hall of Fame class in the fall, 2026.

This is long overdue. It is disgraceful that a school with USC’s rich athletic tradition has not had a Hall of Fame class since 2018. The blame goes to Lynn Swann, Mike Bohn and Cohen.

Look at it this way: Former football players Marvin Powell and Dennis Thurman are in the College Football Hall of Fame but NOT in the USC Hall of Fame. That’s embarrassing.

Unfortunately, Powell passed away in 2022 so even if he gets inducted now it will be posthumously.

There is a backlog of worthy athletes who should be in the USC Hall of Fame but are not because of inactivity.

    1. I don’t know if Pat Haden, Lynn Swann and Reggie Bush are in the Hall of Fame. All are deserving based on their play on the field. But all are equally deserving of a Hall of Shame induction based on what they have done to the USC program off the field. Can we have a ceremony where we revoke their Hall of Fame status. I will attend.

      1. USC needs to create a criminal wing of the Hall of Fame as there are plenty of candidates that deserve to be in the Hall of Fame from the murderers to drug dealers you name it USC has candidates! Get ready to induct Mark Sanchez!

KAM: The disclosure that Jack Smith spied on a member of Congress and 7 U.S. senators is part of a bigger picture: Had Trump not won the election, Smith was going to bring a superseding indictment against the president for seditious conspiracy (something I said for years) and implicate GOP lawmakers, White House aides, and campaign associates. Imagine what would be happening under that lawless, vicious, unaccountable thug had Kamala Harris won.
