Saturday Buzz: Pick The USC-Notre Dame Score

It’s finally game day and the Notre Dame fans in South Bend on Friday were very, very confident about the Irish’s chances.

Do they know something?

Of course, a lot of USC fans probably feel the same way about the Trojans, especially the ones who went to Chicago for the weekend.

One thing for sure: Notre Dame is better than Michigan, who some deluded fans act like beating was a big deal.

Most importantly, who do YOU expect to win the game?

  1. KAM: So the Notre Dame fans are “very, very confident” in a victory over SC, and well they should. They have a sterling running attack which performs even better in the rain, And the defense?- They don’t call them the ‘Fightin’ Irish’ for nothing mate

DON: In many years the winner of the SC-ND game won the national championship. The thought of losing these SC-Notre Dame matches is like losing a lifetime ‘friend’

  2. KAM: Even more important than the upcoming SC-Notre Dame game, is how are your peace-pipe ways in the Russia-Ukraine War coming along?

DON: I got one biggie in my pocket with Israel, and If I can now get Russia in the other pocket, do you think I then deserve a Nobel?

  3. KAM: I’m always rooting for the underdog, like Wiley. This morning a columnist wrote that “Riley (sic) is an elite offensive guru and generational developer of quarterback talent”

DON: Better yet, Wiles is also starting to get ‘defense. It’s like the saying, ‘Offense sells tickets and defense wins championships

  4. KAM: How do you see the game? You know me, I just hope SC can keep it close for drama, and win or lose I’m still with them

DON: I am a pragmatist, You can have your “drama,” I need the win

  5. I doubt ND is vastly better than Michigan,if better at all. SC is ready for this game. I know missing several starters is not a plus for sure, but the back ups have game experience, and hopefully the weather will not be an adverse factor. I think SC wins it 42-28.

  6. I’m actually feeling a little better coming in to today’s game than last week. Primarily because I’m confident our teams never have any problem getting up for the Irish.

    USC 42

    ND 38

      1. Hope we score early and often —and then —- thunderstorms roll in, preventing anybody from doing any further scoring on dangerous, mud drenched field….

  7. DON: The last time SC was at Notre Dame was with ‘Celeb and I felt the Trojans could win it and so I was very disappointed

KAM: I don’t set myself up for a ‘fall by predicting victory. I don’t want to feel disappointment. I just take the game as it comes

  8. “We said to let the democratic process decide who are our President would be. We thought that lies (calling Trump Hitler and a convicted felon) would hurt his chances of winning! But we were wrong and now we are proving to everyone that we don’t care about democracy! We just want to have it all our way! In other words, WE HATE AMERICA and everything it stands for!” – The real motivation behind today’s “protests”.

      1. “Plow Horse”, why would I meet you in Barstow?

Now if you ever want to meet for a drink in Monrovia or maybe El Tepeyec in City of Industry, since both are between Pasadena and the OC, just say the word!

Barstow?! That’s about as dumb of a suggestion as I would expect from the Village Idiot. 😛

  9. Poor Bill Belichick and his Tarheels lost again last night TO CAL, to fall to 2-4. He’s not long for the college football world.

  10. Tough venue under normal conditions. Add drizzle under the lights and this contest will be a slog. I’ll be cheering for our lads, but I think the elements favor the Irish. 28-17 Irish.
