  2. This whole idea of a game in Mexico City is ridiculous and, yes, just a blatant money grab. I don’t think they could ever actually pull it off.

The only reason for USC to NOT play ND is for travel reasons. Well does anyone in Heritage Hall have a map? Mexico City is only 270 miles closer to LA than South Bend. Big whoop!

  3. KAM: Anyone using Sports Betting Apps Should be outraged.

NBA Players Altered their Performance, Faked Injuries and Illnesses, to Manipulate Prop Bets on Sports Betting Platforms

“They placed wagers on unders, for players to score less, rebound less, assist less, using information that was not yet public.. In some instances players altered their performance or took themselves out of games to make sure those bets paid out.”

One example, March 23, 2023: — Terry Rozier playing for the Hornets let others close to him know that he planned to leave the game early with a supposed injury.

Using that information, members of the group placed more than $200k on wagers on his under statistics. Rozier exited the game just under 9 minutes and those bets paid out. The group later met at his home where the group counted their cash.

DON: Now… think about not just the NBA, but also NFL, College Sports, MLB, PGA etc…

You ever wonder why your favorite athlete underperforms some nights? And why we normal fans aren’t allowed to know who is injured and who isn’t? For instance, USC had a player who had been listed as out actually play in the Michigan game…. This is why.

  5. KAM: The unexpected participation of a player like USC’s running back Bryan Jackson, who scored a crucial 29 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter of the Michigan game, can significantly impact betting outcomes for several reasons.

    Key Factors

    1. Betting Odds Adjustments
Betting lines tend to be based on the expected performance of key players. If a player listed as “out” unexpectedly plays, it can lead to line adjustments. Bettors who are aware of last-minute changes may find advantageous opportunities.
    2. Team Strategy Changes
The inclusion of a player who was thought to be unavailable can alter a team’s game plan, influencing the outcome. Bettors who can predict or understand these strategic shifts may gain an edge.
    3. Market Reaction
The betting market often reacts to news. If information about a player’s status changes close to game time, odds may swing dramatically. Bettors who are quick to act on new information can capitalize on this volatility.

DON: Knowledge about player statuses—especially those misreported—gives bettors insights into the game context that could affect their betting decisions. Having real-time updates helps in making informed bets, which is crucial for capitalizing on market inefficiencies.

  6. KAM: Preachy racist hate crime hoaxer black Democrat Laker Superstar LeBron James has been linked to a federal investigation into illegal sports betting, primarily due to allegations that former teammate Damon Jones shared confidential information about James’ injury status to facilitate betting.

    DON: Details of the Allegations

The NBA has placed Billups and Rozier on immediate leave pending the investigation’s outcome, emphasizing the integrity of the game.

Damon Jones allegedly disclosed LeBron James’ injury status before a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on February 9, 2023. This information was not public at the time, allowing gamblers to place bets based on it.

The FBI’s investigation has led to 34 arrests, revealing a broader scheme involving organized crime and multiple NBA players and coaches.
